Design

Piaggio P.50-I

The Piaggio P.50-I prototype first appeared in 1937 and it had four engines, with two pushing and two pulling.

The construction was welded steel with fabric covering except for the control surfaces which were wood.

Piaggio P.50-II

The Piaggio P.50-II prototype first appeared in 1938 with four engines in a standard configuration.
