Design

The Fokker C.X was designed to replace the Fokker C.V.

Prototype

The Fokker C.X first flew in 1934.

Production

Deliveries of the C.X began in 1937.

  • Total: 71

Variants

  • C.X (NEI): Built for Netherlands East Indies Army. Open cockpit. Tail used a skid.
  • C.X (LVA): Built for Luchtvaartafdeling. Enclosed cockpit. Had tailwheel.
  • C.X (Finish built): Heated cockpit. Could used skis or wheels.
  • C.X??: Prototype with Hispano-Suiza 12Yers engine (925 HP). 20 mm cannon firing through propeller hub.

Usage

Finland and the Netherlands used the Fokker C.X.

Finland

The last C.X in Finland was used until 1958.
