Japan's Type B class cruiser

Design

The Type B class were to be squadron leaders for the Shimakaze class destroyers.

The 810, 811, 812, 813, and 814 were ordered under the 1942 Program and eventually cancelled. The 1942 Modified Program called for the construction of 5037 and 5038 but these too were eventually cancelled.
