Italy's Sparviero aircraft carrier

Design

The Sparviero was to be converted from the passenger liner Augustus starting in 1936 but it was rejected.1 Then in 1942 it was taken up again.1

Hangar

There was to be a single hangar that had two elevators to take aircraft to the flight deck.1
