Great Britain's Medium Tank A8

Design

The Medium Tank A8 was designed to be the successor to the Medium Mk III but only a wooden mock-up was built. The project was cancelled in 1937 as it was found that the A8 really wasn't much of an improvement over the previous medium tanks.

Prototype

A wooden mock-up was completed in July 1933.
