Germany's Experimental Flakpanzers

Design

This Flakpanzer took a 8.8cm Flak 37 or a 8.8cm Flak 41 and placed it on a combination PzKpfw IV chassis with a half track suspension. The 8.8cm gun kept its gun shield and was surrounded by an armored frame that was lowered when the gun was fired.

Variants

  • Flakpanzer für schwere Flak (8.8cm Flak 37); 8.8 cm Flak 37 auf Sonderfahrgestell: Mounted 8.8cm Flak 37.
  • 8.8cm Flak 41 auf Sonderfahrgestell: Mounted 8.8cm Flak 41.
