France's Hanriot NC-600 fighter

Design

The Hanriot NC-600 was of all metal construction.

The Hanriot NC-600 project was abandoned after only two prototypes were constructed even though the aircraft was highly promising.

Landing Gear

The landing gear on the NC-600 were retractable.

The NC-600 first flew in 1939. It was able to reach 337 mph at 16,400'.
